Local Business Lines
PAETEC offers local business lines on an analog
or digital basis. Analog access lines provide
local dial tone for your traditional business
lines, key system, fax, or modem lines at
substantial discounts. Enjoy additional savings
on local measured service, and options of
flat-rate service, as well as custom-calling
features such as call waiting, call forwarding,
and caller ID.
Local DOD Trunks
Provided on an analog or digital basis, PAETEC's
Direct Outward Dial (DOD) Trunks carry outbound
calls from your PBX to anywhere in the world.
PAETEC's DODs can also carry outgoing long
distance calls to the interexchange carrier of
your choice. Our competitive pricing, coupled
with discounted rates on local measured service,

Local DID Trunks
Provided on an analog or digital basis, PAETEC's
Direct Inward Dial (DID) Trunks carry incoming
calls directly to your PBX for routing to the
intended recipient. Individual numbers for each
employee's telephone eliminate the need for
switchboard intervention. Our competitive
pricing, coupled with discounted rates on DID
number blocks, provide you with exceptional
savings.
Two-Way Trunks
Provided on an analog or digital basis, PAETEC's
Two-Way Trunks carry both outgoing and incoming
calls. You can combine trunk groups for both DID
and DOD services to maximize your network
utilization. Incoming calls can terminate either
at the operator's console or directly to
individual extensions.
Primary Rate Interface T-1 (PRI)
For faster out-of-band signaling, PRI utilizes
23 channels for inbound and outbound calling and
the 24th or 'D' channel for signaling
information. This allows for better delivery of
ANI (automatic number identification) and DNIS
(dialed number identification service). Allocate
your PRI trunks in any combination of DOD, DID,
or Two-Way trunks you desire. Combine your local
and long distance needs, along with Internet
needs, on a single access line.
TeleBlock Outbound Call Screening Solution
PAETEC's call compliance solution,
TeleBlock®, is an outbound call screening
solution that provides call blocking
functionality for small- to medium-sized
businesses with call blocking requirements.
TeleBlock call screening service uses a
centralized database to determine whether
potential customers reside on a Do-Not-Call
(DNC) list to screen "Call" versus "Do-Not-Call"
prospects, requires no hardware or software, can
be implemented quickly, and does not require
capital expenditures. TeleBlock is the
perfect solution for businesses conducting
outbound calls that generate approximately
50,000 to one million calls per month or have
between two to three T-1s.
