Equipment Rental Program Information

A wide selection of Cisco and ADTRAN equipment is available through PAETEC's Equipment Rental Program, and included with each device is an Installation kit, or Data Accessory kit, that enables professional quality installation.

In addition, through our Managed Router Services, PAETEC provides professional configuration, maintenance, and monitoring support. Services provided include:

  • Configuration of LAN and WAN interfaces
  • Configuration of software-based features, including NAT, PAT, DHCP, and secondary interfaces
  • Monitoring services based on PING monitoring
  • Electronic customer notifications including e-mail and pager messaging
  • Router software / operating system updates
  • Trouble resolution, device fault, and configuration management
  • The Data Accessory kit contains all of the hardware that is needed for the installation, including an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) in case of a commercial power failure, and a modem for Cisco routers to permit PAETEC to gain access remotely to keep the router properly programmed.

    Note: PAETEC's Equipment Rental Program maintenance and configuration can only be supported in the continental U.S. and to on-net locations only. The routers that are included in the rental program do not support BGP.
